As a senior technical consultant for the past two decades, Bob’s primary focus has been database and BI architectures. His clients have included EDS, Microsoft, Content Masters and Attenex. He has also developed SQL Server-related solutions for Microsoft Certified Training (MCT) courses and has written numerous books about database technologies including SQL Server, MySQL and the SQL:1999 specification.
In addition, he contributes articles regularly to publications such as Windows IT Pro and SQL Server magazines, which is how he gets to put his BA in English to use. Prior to his foray into technology, he lived in the Colorado Rockies, where--as an EMT and Search and Rescue volunteer--he was dropped from a helicopter and broke both legs and arms.
