Business Analyst: Maxsam Partners encourages candidates with strong analytical and problem solving skills to join our team of experienced consultants. Our Business Analysts will typically have 5+ years of experience in the full life cycle development process of enterprise applications or architectures. Beyond excellent team interaction and communication skills, we seek candidates with knowledge in back-end database services and web application technologies such as ASP.Net and C#. Experience with specific COTS packages such as SAP, Siebel, Amdocs, Oracle, JD Edwards, and Lombardi is always a plus.
Chief Architect: We seek proven architects of software products with 10 or more years of experience. Chief Architects work as a technical resource planning and implementing new technologies and platforms that afford a competitive advantage. Architects are most often accountable for the quality of products and on-time delivery. They must be able to communicate to engineering, management, and executive teams through presentations, white papers, technical documentation and interpersonal communication.
Chief Security Officer
Director of Engineering: Engineering and development directors and managers are encouraged to contact us for opportunities managing the software engineering team in producing business deliverables. Works with Product Management and Customer Support throughout the SDLC. This position is responsible for budgeting, recruiting, training, and otherwise providing the necessary resources for the development team to accomplish its tasks as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement to maximize delivery. Directors typically have 8 or more years of experience with 3 or more years managing in a software organization developing complex commercial products.
Director of Quality: We seek Individuals with 10 or more year's experience planning, organizing, and overseeing the organization's quality assurance department to ensure all products meet defined standards. QA Directors work across the organization to develop processes that deliver a consistent, thorough, and repeatable system for quality assurance. Will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing QA team members. Reviews and analyzes test plans, scripts, documentation, and QA tools.

Qualified candidates will have either their MCSE or CNE plus 2 or more years of experience using the latest technology to plan, design, and implement LANs and WANs. Program Manager: Our team is always looking for proven program managers with experience with Agile software development processes. Scrum Masters provide leadership and facilitate the Agile process helping with user stories, estimations, maintenance of the back log by product owners, triages bug and incident reports for prioritization, tracking sprint achievements and providing burn downs. Successful candidates will have 8 or more years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring technical staff.
Project Manager: Maxsam Partners continually seeks out talented project managers with expertise in scope definition, requirements management, business case development, release management, development and test management, and budget/timeline oversight. Successful candidates will have knowledge with multiple project methodologies, and be comfortable in both large enterprise and small team environments. Superb written and verbal skills are mandatory, as is the ability to efficiently trouble-shoot issues and facilitate resolutions. We require a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in project management for consideration.
QA Tester (Black Box): Our team is looking to add software testers with 2+ years experience in developing and executing test cases in large-scale software implementation projects. A knowledge of common QA best practices, defect tracking and management, issue escalation, version control, and experience with automation is typically standard for our testers. Writing skills for results documentation, metrics tracking, and reproduction step generation is a must.
Systems Engineer: We are continuously accepting resumes and seeking individuals to provide timely and effective services to Maxsam Partners clients involving hardware and software service, set-up, configuration and support. Qualified applicants will have a two-year Associate Degree in Computer Technologies or equivalent experience; technical expertise in PC support, troubleshooting, end-user education and problem solving in major desktop operating systems (Windows 3.X, Windows 9X, Windows NT Workstation). Must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Technical Writer: Technical writers with 5 or more year's experience documenting software products are encouraged to contact us with samples of previous work. Must have exceptional verbal communication skills and strong technical aptitude. Must be able to judge appropriate techniques and formats for documentation based on content and audience. Must be customer-oriented and have the ability to work collaboratively across the organization. Should have experience with common authoring tools such as Microsoft Word and Adobe FrameMaker.
Test Engineer: Individuals with experience helping oganizations identify areas of functionality that do not conform to specifications should send us resumes with 2 or more year's experience as a Test engineer. Responsible for documenting and executing test plans providing detailed analysis of results. Must perform both manual and automated testing. Must have a working knowledge of the Windows operating system and should be familiar with Java, .NET, or scripting applications, as well as one or more database system such as Oracle or SQL Server and have experience creating SQL queries. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
UI Developer: Maxsam Partners is currently seeking User Interface specialists with 5 or more years experience in human centered design, software usability, and product design. Must have proven ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical staff. Must have excellent skills visualizing and creating designs resulting in intuitive software products that generate a superior user experience and increase productivity.
